for a few months already, sub static boss falko brocksieper gradually intensifies his work on the own label again. with driving minimal-beats and melodic instinctive feeling the track >slap< from the >slap/happy<-split-ep with mia evolved into a gladly played hit, and also the following >esque ep< was not just a dayfly in the worlds dj-bags. in this phase the new 2-tracker >blackbox< is now brocksiepers ultimate confession to the dancefloor - fully functional without lacking his organic, trippy branding. the track >blackbox< presents itself as a dark, impulsive techno mover, ripped open again and again by intuitively placed accents, only to remind itself of its own irresistible drive and to cultivate it over the full length. meanwhile the b-side >off the rack< is toying with the idea of chicago house groove, driven by a rebelliously grumbling bootybassline and bleepy excursions into the world of weird soundscapes. on both tracks falko brocksieper celebrates the sign stimuli of techno, delightfully modest and coupled with his signature bubbly, sculptural sound.

lovely slice of deep vocal heaven here starting with an afro brazilian flavored guitar intro and gentle beat with a subtle kick that slides into some extra warm synths and the baduesque vocal by zansika that sets the tone, polish all the way. incredible break about two thirds the way through that gets quiet and takes a moment for just the beat, echoing vocal and dizzying synths that should mesmerise the floor. b side dub strips the track down to its essence exposing all its elements to let us see what makes it work so well

here we are with the second release telling everybody >its summertime<. this time b mus from the main-area joins the komplex audio family with his absolutley inspiring work to keep our feet dancing in the sand. this komplex audio release brings smooth detroitish soundscapes with woofing beats to the clubs around the world. three tracks full of wicked programming and crowd moving synth stabs hold the tension hight between dancing and jumping into the pool

jt donaldson follows up 2 outstanding eps for hudd traxx bringing his untitled orchestra partner cpen with him appearing under a new guise. the title track lives up to its name as it d bang the lights of any club! jt & cpen work out smooth beats, techy keys and melodic strings with a killer bass to make this track the pick of the ep. flip for the b side and jts signature deepness shines through starting with intimate friends. crisp beats and crunchy hi hats accompanied by low swung piano keys will keep the heads nodding into the early hours. spaced out is a late night deep viber which rounds off this ep nicely. full marks to the slum science crew for another essential release.

on logo side, flow vinyl welcomes jerome isma-ae, being the first german to have a record on the us house label strictly rhythm and his resume, while filled with work on labels like jee productions, universal, sony, ministry of sound uk, wea, craft music, hope recordings, re-brand, baroque rec, etc. isma-ae is known for his abilities to connect bright, uplifting and non-cheesy progressive style with an uncompromisingly rolling percussive groove. having a strong support by hernan cattaneo, nick warren, oliver moldan, tom novy, andy moor, chus & ceballos, dj mason. on the info side, german duo bjoern mandry & thomas gold teams up, to present us a huge progressive electro track filled with throbbing bass layers and a marvelous combination of deep pads and a huge vocal reminding us of depeche mode. they have been supported by tong, digweed, sasha, lawler, oakenfold to name a few

merry, amusing nonsense - some of the attributes used to describe the last kritik records. these terms are unlikely to be appropriate here: the young sebastian simmert from the outskirts of berlin has submitted his first own production. noticable are the influences of techno producers from recent years and the work of this 22 year old demonstrates he knows the whos who. is this an up and comer? the first track is in the tradition of pumping bodzin/romboy works, the second references 2step, including the bad little ravemonster. finally, a hymne for the early morning hours, for the more contemplative dancefloor - enjoy while sipping bionade. beyond minimalism

heres two new uptempo instrumental tracks from lindstrom just in time for the summer. breakfast in heaven sounds like something edward grieg could have made if he ever got a chance to work with sequencers. blast of loser is a percussive track with distorted clavinet-feedback on top of simple rolling drums. bol has been remixed by mungolian jet set last year, but its about time to release the original version
